We, at St. John's Lutheran Church & School, wish to welcome you into this family of God. It is our sincere prayer that we can be rich blessings to each other and to the community which we serve. Senior Pastor Call Extended:

After prayerful consideration at a Spirit filled Congregational Call Meeting held August 5th, the Congregation issued a unanimous call to Reverend Robert Lee Hagan, IV to serve as our next Senior Pastor. Pastor Hagan is currently the Senior Pastor at St. Paul in Concordia, Missouri.  He has held this position for the last 6-years.  He and his wife Jill have two children (Caroline - 8, and Jack - 5).  Please keep Pastor Hagan, our congregation and St. Paul's congregation in your prayers as Pastor Hagan deliberates this call and the desires of the Holy Spirit for his ministry.

“You Can’t Get There From Here”
The following article, written by Pastor Snow, appeared in the July 14th edition of the Chaska Herald.

“You can’t get there from here.” You don’t have to speak Minnesotan to hear the frustration that comes with this common phrase used particularly during the warmer months for those of us who live in the western suburbs. We’ve become accustomed to seeing the bright orange detour signs that remind us all too frequently, “you can’t get there from here”.

Drive a short distance from almost anywhere and you will have the opportunity to experience this phenomenon for yourself. While we expect to see a few of these temporary road closures on the Highway, we don’t expect all of them to be detoured at the same time (Hwy’s 7, 12, 312, 394, and 494). And just when you think you have it all figured out another sign emerges out of thin air. Familiar examples in the Chaska area can be seen on Engler, Lyman, Victoria Drive, and Bavaria, just to name a few.
